Peppermint shrimp are a reef-safe favorite known for their bright red striping and useful role in maintaining a clean aquarium. These peaceful invertebrates are natural scavengers and are commonly used to help control nuisance Aiptasia. They do best in established reef tanks with plenty of rockwork and hiding spaces. While many will actively consume Aiptasia, results can vary between individuals. In addition to pest control, they help clean up uneaten food and organic waste, contributing to overall tank health.
